Celebrating 10 Years of GLS and 5 Years of GAM
This December gives us some special milestones. Givens Lifting Systems is officially celebrating 10 years in business, and Givens Automation & Machine is celebrating 5 years. It has been a long stretch of growth, improvement, and a whole lot of learning.
As we wrap up 2025, we wanted to look back at how far we’ve come and highlight a few projects that really show the kind of work our team is proud of.

Growing Demand, a Stronger Team, and a Busy Shop
Over the last few years, we’ve seen steady growth in sales inquiries from companies looking for safer and more efficient lifting solutions. The increase has been meaningful and has pushed us to step up internally. Our team has done exactly that.
Our fabrication shop is more capable than ever, with a plasma table coming online, expanded CNC machining support, and smoother workflow overall. Welders, machinists, builders, and installers are busier than ever.
We’ve got our biggest team ever, which means we can keep up with new sales inquiries and installations across North America while keeping the shop running smoothly. Keep ’em coming!
Standout Projects and New Product Options
This year brought some exciting projects and product additions. Here are a few that stood out:
Automotive Seat Manipulator
You may have seen the post we shared recently. Moving automotive seats doesn’t have to be a workout.
This crane-hung seat manipulator gives operators at BraunAbility effortless control with intuitive sliding handlebars and smooth, precise movement.
It is designed for safety, comfort, and taking the strain out of handling heavy material like these 120 pound seats.
Custom Fixture and Production Carts
These carts were a big win for the GAM side earlier this year.
Our precision-engineered push carts are built for manufacturing and include custom pull bars for easy transport, dual floor brakes for safety, and ergonomic handles for control.
Whether the customer needs complex fixturing or warehouse roller carts, we build them to fit the exact process.
Electric Tractor Drives and New Options
We also added new movement technology to our G-Rail™ lift systems.
Electric tractor drives can be used on any of our G-Rail™ systems for easier, powered movement of loads along the rail. They can engage or disengage at the push of a button, similar to our Air Tractors.
Along with that, we introduced a compact version of our Air Tractor that works great in tight spaces or on smaller systems.
