Crane-Mounted Manipulators
Our specially-designed manipulators are capable of overhead mounting on crane rails, offering exceptional mobility while retaining all the advantages of an industrial manipulator arm. These manipulators can be mounted on a pair of runways or bridges that move along a runway, providing the flexibility of one or two axes of travel. The travel functionality can be powered either by our air tractor drives or electric tractor drives.
This M250 industrial manipulator is installed overhead on our C2000 G-Rail™ system. Utilizing four trolleys, the manipulator seamlessly moves along the pair of runways, powered by our air tractor drive. In this instance, it effortlessly lifts a 1000lb casting.
Once more, powered by our air tractor drive and supported by four trolleys, the M60 industrial manipulator moves effortlessly along the pair of runways within our C1000 G-Rail™ system.
Advantages of Crane-Mounted Industrial Manipulators
The M60 industrial manipulator is installed overhead on our C1000 G-Rail™ bridge crane. Riding on four trolleys, the manipulator utilizes an air tractor drive to power the movement of the bridge along the pair of runways.
Notably, the manipulator is manually maneuvered along the bridge by the operator, eliminating the need for powered travel in this particular setup.
